All Guldmann service technicians and installers have been through – and passed – the Guldmann certification program that includes an introduction to the Guldmann corporate values– the overall mindset as well as theoretical and practical training.

We place great emphasis on quality as well as safety and make sure that all inspection, repair, and installation tasks are carried out on the basis of Guldmann in-house quality assurance procedures.

We are able to tackle about a third of all these service requests over the phone. If it’s a problem that cannot be dealt with by phone, one of our technicians will be quickly mobilized for an on-site service call and will do whatever is needed to remedy the situation – quickly and efficiently.

According to local labour inspection regulations, installation and inspection must be carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions. Inspection of Guldmann ceiling hoists must be carried out by a certified service technician and must be performed in accordance with ISO 10535:2021

Compliance with standards
According to ISO 10535:2021, a lifting cycle with a maximum load (SWL) of min 500 mm performed at the top of the lifting range must be performed during an inspection. If the test is not performed, the ceiling hoist is not compliant with the standard. A certified service technician is trained to perform the inspection correctly.

Original spare parts
The use of non-original spare parts can cause damage to our products and pose a risk to user safety. Likewise, the warranty is immediately void and any damage or incidents caused by non-original spare parts are not covered by the manufacturer's liability.

CE and MDR
Using original spare parts maintains the warranty and preserves the CE marking. The CE marking proves that a product fulfils EU requirements for safety, health and environmental protection. 
With a CE labelled product, you can be sure that the product also complies with the EU's MDR regulation.

High reliability and low costs
We access the software of the ceiling hoist to see how often it has been used. This ensures that neither too many nor too few spare parts are replaced because we replace based on data. We offer to review replaced original batteries to see if the replacement was necessary.

Environmentally friendly and durable solutions
More than 10 years ago, Guldmann opted out of using acid batteries in our ceiling hoists. Today, we exclusively use NiMH batteries, which not only significantly reduce the environmental impact, but also improve the performance and durability of the ceiling hoists. NiMH can withstand normal use for a minimum of 5 years or 20,000 lifts, which means few replacements and low costs.
