Description

Bariatric Walking sling – for early mobilization, activation and training

The Guldmann Gait Trainer is a sling to help maintain standing and provide support while walking.

The sling is shaped like a pair of short trousers to support the user around the pelvis and stomach area. The design helps prevent “squeezing” the user’s stomach and likewise eliminates the risk of the user slipping through the sling. It is intended to support the user in standing and provides optimal comfort.

The walking sling is ideal for gait training and early mobilization of bariatric patients. It boosts confidence and safety for both user and carer in balance training sitting, standing and walking.

The Guldmann Gait Trainer – Bariatric sling is made of polyester and spacer material. Lifting capacity of up to 500 kg/1,100 lbs.

The sling has a Smart label with RFID technology. The data embedded in the tag on the label is a unique serial/identification number and includes the production date. The RFID tags in Guldmann slings are of the passive type and can be read with most RFID reader technologies on the market. On the sling, there is a label with a QR code leading to a mobile site containing links to instruction video and user manual.

The sling can be used with all Guldmann ceiling lift systems.

Using the appropriate sling is essential for efficient transfers to ensure comfort, dignity and safety for the user and the care provider.
