Qualifications: In possession of a Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration & Marketing) with an Advanced Degree (MBA)
Experience: 3-5 years related marketing experience and/or training is highly valued.

Position Summary:
Responsible for the general marketing activities related to the imminent launch of the Stepless product lines in the USA.
Focus will be on;

  • Acute Care and select Long Term Care facilities
  • Architects and Facility Design companies
  • The VA Government and similar GPO organizations
  • Hospital Systems and other Share Service Organizations
  • Government Institutions and Public Service Facilities

Your primary objective is to evaluate research and develop an American business strategy for the successful launch of the Stepless Division in the USA.

You will be required to assess the viability of the various target segments as identified above, as well as establish the required resources necessary to support the execution and sustainability of this business endeavor.

Your findings will include the ideal combination of the 4 basic marketing “Ps” (Product, Price, Promotion & Place) for the Stepless Division and will serve as a primary driver for what business course of action Guldmann Inc. pursues.

You will be working closely with the USA Executive VP, as well as related counterparts from the Danish Headquarters in Aarhus and other European Market Leads, where Stepless is currently being marketed. As a result, you will be required to maintain a strong knowledge base of the Stepless product line and establish yourself as a reliable source of information/local expert for the USA market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to the following.
It is expected that you actively:

  • Focus on Major Strategic Accounts and Organizations and Major Buying Groups
  • Prepare a business plan for each identified segment so as to establish what and how short and long term customer needs may be met
  • Coordinate efforts with your Team and fellow Co-workers, both here in the USA and Global HQ in Denmark
  • Develop forecasted revenue targets and assess the feasibility of the various segments Steppless should pursue
  • Develop business relationships and perform extensive market research with prospective customer segments on a regular basis to maintain account relationship, advice of new product and service features, obtain feedback on potential products & services and assess revenue potential
  • Outline the support that the engineering and training departments need to provide post-implementation support to assigned accounts/customers
  • Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations
  • Participate in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing product info
  • Provide feedback about: competitors, market, products, ideas, state laws and regulations, and other market info to marketing and product engineering teams for future product enhancements
  • Shares ideas and customer needs throughout all phases of the product life cycle (plan, design, integrate, install, manage)
  • Maintain a good relationship with the business community, colleagues, and competitors
  • Educate yourself via courses, training
