Professional Ceiling Hoist – for effective lifting and moving

The GH3+ is a faster, sturdier and more powerful version of the standard GH3 lifting motor. WiFi-enabled and ready for online connection to the MyGuldmann digital platform. It is designed for use in almost all professional care settings, and with a lifting capacity of up to 400 kg/880 lbs on a single strap, it is also ideal for use in bariatric care.

The digital hand control display shows service-related information and alarms, such as inspection date exceeded or critical low battery, along with usage data.

GH3+ is built on a modular platform, allowing functionality to be expanded over time without replacing the lifting module. Selected GH3+ hoists can be upgraded with additional modules when needed, either temporarily or permanently, protecting long‑term investment and supporting changing clinical requirements.

Digital overview and documentation are managed through MyGuldmann, Guldmann’s digital platform for lifting solutions. MyGuldmann provides insight into usage, system status, inspections, and add-on features, supporting compliance, proactive maintenance, and operational overview across care environments.

The GH3+ lifting motor is available in models with lifting capacities of 200, 250, 275, 300, 350, 375, and 400 kg. The GH3+ can feature a built-in motor for horizontal movement along the traverse rail, with the lifting module operated either via a hand control or an infrared (IR) remote control unit.

All these options make the GH3+ lifting module the most cost-effective ceiling hoist solution available for professional care settings.

Add-on functionality for GH3+

Trainer Module
Integrated dynamic weight relief up to 100 kg. Provides the possibility to improve patient mobility and physical function through safe and assisted rehabilitation exercises. Factory-installed or, in some cases, retrofitted on-site. Available for on-demand purchase or monthly lease in MyGuldmann.

Scale Module
An integrated scale module for weighing a person when lifted in a sling. The weight of the lifted person is shown on the hand control display. Factory-installed or, in some cases, retrofitted on-site. Available on demand for purchase or monthly lease in MyGuldmann.

IR Control Module (GH3 / GH3+)
Enables remote operation of the hoist, switch track, and turntable via IR hand control. Factory-installed or retrofitted on-site.

Class III Scale Module
The integrated Class III scale is used for weighing of patients in connection with, e.g., hospitalisation, where accurate monitoring of a patient’s weight is necessary. The weight is displayed on the hand control. Fulfils the conditions for a non-automatic weighing instrument in accordance with EU Directive 2014/31/EU. Factory-installed only.

Drive Motor Module (GH3 / GH3+)
For horizontal movement of the lifting module in the rail system. Operated via both analogue and digital hand controls and optionally with a wireless IR hand control. Factory-installed only.

Note on previous Care Lift Management (CLM) systems

Earlier versions of the GH3+ ceiling hoist may be equipped with Care Lift Management (CLM) or CLM Online for data collection and monitoring. These systems remain part of existing installations and continue to support documentation and overview according to their original configuration.

CLM Online will be permanently discontinued. However, historical data from CLM Online installations will continue to be available in MyGuldmann.

Customers with GH3+ hoists that include CLM Online-enabled hardware can access MyGuldmann with reduced functionality, depending on the age of the hoist and installed modules.

For newer GH3+ versions (made after 02-2024) MyGuldmann replaces CLM as the digital platform, providing a modern, cloud-based solution for managing data, modules, and system overview.

Smart reach is a plastic cover for the emergency cord that enables you to reset the emergency stop button.

Smart guard

Smart guard is a plastic bag tube that covers the lifting strap to protect it from contamination.

GH3+ Hygiene Kit components designed for high hygiene standards in operating theatres.

GH3 Sealing kit

Protects against external dirt and particles. For environments in which a high hygiene standard is required.

Rest for hand control

A rest for the hand control are conveniently located on the lifting strap of the ceiling hoist.
