Droughts in the Horn of Africa. Cyclones and floods. In the world's poorest regions, climate change has forced millions of families to flee, leaving them unable to provide for their children. The global food crisis has worsened the situation. Currently, 13.6 million children under the age of five are so malnourished that their lives are at risk.

Every day, the news is filled with stories of wars, conflicts, and disasters. Yet there is another kind of need – a quiet, prolonged struggle that claims millions of lives, including countless innocent children.

Danmarks Indsamling is an annual charity event broadcast on Danish television. This year’s live show will air on Saturday, February 1st, on DR1. Together, we can make a difference for children in need.
