Repositioning sling learning video - Moving a patient in bed - with four hanger points
A good tip:
How to lighten the workload at the bed with a repositioning sling
In connection with their daily care for bed bound residents, caregivers must handle and position the patient several times daily. Proper working techniques are needed to handle the patient manually.
A ceiling-mounted hoist with a repositioning sling can significantly reduce strain on the personnel and create a sense of security for the patient while being moved. The repositioning sling can be left beneath the patient.
The sling can also be used to move residents or patients to a sideways position, to reposition bed-bound patients, to lift the head and body to a half-sitting position, to move patients lying on their backs in bed or to transfer a patient to a bed or stretcher.
The sling can be used together with our standard lifting hanger or cross hangers.
