Guldmann is a market leading Danish-based company that develop, manufacture, and sell welfare technology for people with reduced capabilities and work tools for caregivers. Our business is medical technology, and our products and solutions are sold worldwide. The company is family-owned and was founded in 1980 by Viggo Guldmann.

We supply customers all over the world, served by Guldmann sales and service offices in Denmark, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Norway, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States, and via a wide network of Guldmann distributors extending from Iceland in the north to Australia in the south.

Guldmann’s activities in Spain are currently handled out of the headquarters in Denmark. Moving forward we plan to serve the Spanish market through a local presence and sales force. We are therefore looking for a Country Manager for Spain.

Our Solutions
“Time to care” is the outcome of the safe patient-handling equipment that Guldmann has proudly manufactured for more than 40 years. Today’s cornerstone in our product evolution is the seventh-generation Ceiling Lift System GH3 with more features than any other brand on the market.

A full turn-key solution including consulting and training is part of what customers receive when partnering with Guldmann and adds to the reason why customers stay loyal to the brand forming long-term partnerships.

“Access for all” is the deliverable for our Stepless solutions. The range of ramps and lifting platforms is unique and allows for bespoke solutions thus creating optimal accessibility.

The Position
As Country Manager you will be responsible for building and growing the Spanish market further and for establishing the organization with relevant functions including sales, installation, service, and support. It is key to your success to be able to ensure growth in both the short and the long term.

As Country Manager you will be based in Spain and report to the Regional Manager for Southern Europe. The position includes travel within the country and occasionally to the company headquarters in Denmark.

The Profile
You are an entrepreneur and experienced in project sales, preferably from the health sector, including hospital and/or the nursing home sector, private as well as public. You will have experience with system sales with a larger number and variety of stakeholders.

You will have core skills in project sales and providing ROI-based presentations alone as well as part of a team. As a Country Manager, you are expected to deliver evidence-based solutions at a high level with an understanding of how to generate and sell a value proposition.

Guldmann is the market leader within the segment, and our solutions are ahead of the competition. You should be able to use that advantage to leverage a successful and profitable business.

Management experience is an advantage and the ability to drive and motivate others is key.

We are looking for an inspiring person who likes to work on the frontline. As part of a team, you understand how to lead and how to listen, and you are not afraid to try something new. You are expected to be able to switch smoothly between operational, tactical, and strategic levels, depending on the situation.

You see your colleagues as a real resource in the creation of business success. The Country Manager must demonstrate the ability to collaborate and create results in organizations holding a variety of skilled people with different backgrounds.

You hold an academic degree and are fluent in English and Spanish.
