Sant’Orsola, inaugurated the new orthopedics department
Saint Orsola, the new Orthopedics department has been inaugurated. The ribbon was cut for the department with state-of-the-art technologies. It was temporarily housed in the Villa Torri structure. Within the year, the work will be completed for an area of over 5 thousand square meters.
After two years of work, the Orthopedics department returns to the Saint Orsola Polyclinic in Bologna, in a completely renovated area of the fifth pavilion. The first 38 beds are operational. They will become 150 in the coming months, destined for different departments, with an investment of 16 million euros financed by the Emilia-Romagna Region. Seismic improvement, energy efficiency, and extensive use of state-of-the-art equipment; each stay will have electric lifts and isolation rooms.
