Lviv Regional Children's Clinical Hospital Okhmatdyt

Guldmann AB in Sweden has donated two boxes of supplies worth approx. 140.000 SEK for an intensive care unit for newly born children at the Children’s Hospital Okhmatdyt in Lviv, Ukraine.

Because of the war, this hospital now takes care of relocated children from the almost destroyed eastern Ukraine as well as local children. The intensive care unit has been lacking supplies because of their price, insufficient state funding and the increased number of children.

Our Managing Director in Guldmann Ukraine, Taras Yurunts, has been in ongoing contact with the hospital to attain an overview of their needs and he was also responsible for delivering the supplies.

The head of the department was very excited when she opened the packages. She could not believe her eyes that she received all those high-quality goodies. Top-of-the-line supplies from GE Healthcare made her day.

She and her colleagues carefully unpacked the supplies and placed them in the unit. They will be used for babies, whose lives are in danger from their first breath.

And thanks to this donation, their survival chance will be much higher.
