To simplify selection and ensure ease of use, our ABC sling system features a clear colour-coding scheme:

Green (Basic): Universal slings suitable for most patients

Red (Active): Requires caregiver assessment of the patient’s physical condition before use

Blue (Custom): Special-purpose slings, often designed for individual use

Additionally, most slings are equipped with colour-coded straps to make positioning and adjustments intuitive. This simplifies communication between caregivers, saving time and preventing incorrect or uneven application of the sling.

A very smart sling label

Prepared for improved track & trace

All reusable Guldmann slings now come with RFID-labeled tags at no extra cost.

These passive RFID tags store a unique serial number and production date, ensuring readability even after repeated washes—unlike barcodes. They are compatible with most RFID readers and can be scanned without direct line of sight.

RFID technology supports compliance with ISO 10535, requiring biannual sling inspections and individual usage logs.
