Floor-based lifting with proven performance

The GL6 Basic is a versatile floor lifter designed for hospitals, care homes and rehabilitation settings. It supports safe and efficient transfers in everyday care, helping caregivers move users between beds, chairs and wheelchairs. Available with a lifting capacity of 340 lbs or 450 lbs.

Designed for busy healthcare environments, the GL6 Basic combines ease of use with the flexibility needed across a wide range of transfer situations. An ergonomic soft-grip handle provides comfortable and secure handling, while low-friction castors and a compact turning radius make it easy to manoeuvre around furniture and in confined spaces.

Electric leg-width adjustment enables easy access around chairs and wheelchairs. The low leg profile helps position the lifter close to beds and other equipment.

The flexible quick-release system allows the lifting hanger to move freely in all directions for easy positioning during transfers. GL6 Basic can be used for both planned transfers and unforeseen lifting situations, including lifting from the floor. It can be used with Guldmann stretcher-style accessories for horizontal lifting. With a lifting speed of 25 mm/sec and long-life lead-acid batteries, the lifter supports dependable everyday use and can be charged either on-board or off-board to suit different operational needs.

Safety functions are designed to support confident operation. Manual lowering is included as standard, enabling controlled lowering if power is unavailable. An emergency stop function, clear indicators and intuitive controls help support safe and straightforward operation in everyday care environments.
