Guldmann GH3+ Hoists –
Supporting Hospitals in Times of War

As the war in Ukraine continues to affect millions of lives, the country’s healthcare system faces immense pressure. Hospitals are working hard to care for civilians, injured soldiers, displaced individuals, and patients in rehabilitation. In such demanding conditions, access to modern medical equipment is not just a convenience – it is a lifeline.

To help meet this urgent need, Guldmann has donated and installed GH3+ ceiling hoist systems with Trainer module and Positioning lock at eight rehabilitation sites across Ukraine. These advanced systems enable safe and efficient patient handling, while also supporting physical training and rehabilitation – particularly for war veterans regaining strength and mobility after injury.

The initiative was coordinated through Guldmann Ukraine, which managed the import of the equipment. Local distributor Mediline contributed their expertise and commitment by installing the systems free of charge at the designated hospitals.

The donated GH3+ systems have been delivered to facilities located throughout the country including:

  • Yuri Lypa Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed People (Lviv)
  • Cherkasy Regional Hospital (Cherkasy)
  • Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Hospital of War Veterans (Mykolaiv)
  • Rehabilitation Center “Dzherelo” (Lviv)
  • City Clinical Hospital No. 4 (Dnipro)
  • National Military Medical Clinical Center “Main Military Clinical Hospital” (Kyiv)
  • Western National Paralympic Center (Syanky)
  • Uzhhorod City Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital (Uzhhorod)

These installations reach hospitals across both western and eastern Ukraine, including regions near the front line, where medical infrastructure and personnel operate under extreme conditions.

To ensure the best possible use of the equipment, Guldmann has provided online training sessions with each hospital, streamed directly from the showroom in Aarhus. The training focuses on safe operation and rehabilitation techniques, with translation support provided by Guldmann-Ukraine.

We would like to give a big thank you to all partners and healthcare professionals involved in making this initiative possible.
