Trainer Module received a Highly Commended award
Last week Guldmann attended the European Healthcare Design Conference in London. The event brings together key opinion leaders from all corners of the globe to share and discuss research, policy, and best practice within the global healthcare design of new-build hospitals and other associated facilities.
We were delighted to receive a Highly Commended award in the Product and Technology Design Innovation category for the Guldmann Trainer Module.
The award came at the conclusion of two days of face-to-face conversations about safe patient handling solutions with architects, construction leaders and designers and planners from across the globe.
It was the first time in three years, that the European Healthcare Design Awards 2022, returned in person. Continuing an exciting innovation from last year, the conference had live webinar presentations and judging of the shortlisted categories a month prior to the awards ceremony, offering delegates a greater insight into the judging process and providing a valuable learning opportunity. Recordings of these webinar presentations are available on the event platform for 90 days from the end of the Congress and will later be available on SALUS.
“Design firms from Nordic and Scandinavian countries were the big winners of the evening, picking up four of the nine main awards between them, along with a number of high commendations”.
Trainer Module
A GH3+ hoist equipped with the Trainer Module provides the possibility to improve patient mobility and physical function through safe and assisted rehabilitation exercises.
The Trainer Module will dynamically unload the patient’s body weight by up to 100 kg.
The caregiver selects the amount of weight needed to be unloaded for the patient and the Trainer module will do the rest. The caregiver can focus on the patient and the quality of the exercise/activity.
