Make slideboard transfers
easy and secure

Patient transfers using a slideboard to and from bed – wheelchair can be a very difficult transfer to make for the carer because of the awkward and risk-filled working positions.

It can also be difficult to support and assist the patient at the proper times.

Using the Guldmann Basic Low sling with extension straps removes the strain on the carer; the focus is then moved from moving the weight of the patient to assisting the functional task and guiding the patient.

This increases the quality and actively engages the patient in the transfer.
